A 14-year-old male cyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash with a van in Lincoln.

The collision happened at around 8am on Thursday, January 19 at the junction of Doddington Road and Newark Road.

The 14-year-old boy who was riding the pushbike has been taken to hospital. Lincolnshire Police have said his injuries are not believed to be serious.

The road was blocked for some time while emergency services were on scene. It has now been cleared at the time of writing.
