A drug dealer caught with a stash of crack cocaine and heroin when he was stopped by police near to Skegness has been jailed.
Scott Cheetham was the driver of the Volvo car which was pulled over by officers on Gunby Road, Orby in July 2016.
Phil Howes, prosecuting, said that the officers spotted a package in the glove compartment of the vehicle and as a result they arrested Cheetham.
Officers found 56 wraps of crack cocaine together with 39 wraps of heroin together with a small amount of ketamine.
The court was told that Cheetham had convictions for 29 previous offences and in 2009 received a six year jail sentence for his part in the knifepoint robbery of a shop.
Cheetham, 39, of no fixed address but originally from the Sheffield area, admitted two charges of possessing drugs with intent to supply on July 9, 2016 and a charge of possession of ketamine.
He was jailed for 40 months.
Neil Sands, in mitigation, told the court: “This is a man who has his own drugs problems and his own history. His previous convictions are in some way or other all drug-related.
“Since being in custody he has gone through a complete detoxification. There is hope for him at the end of the tunnel. He is taking positive steps so that this is the end of his offending career.”

Carole Glover’s transformation into a Brahma Kumaris over 25 years ago marked a pivotal turn in her life, providing clarity on her previous life experiences.
The spiritual movement was founded in the 1930s by Dada Lekhraj Kripalani, a visionary Indian businessman, also known by the name of Prajapita Brahma Baba. He then passed it over to a trust administered by a group of women who have run it ever since. After experiencing a series of visions in 1936, he was inspired to create a school where the “principles and practices of a virtuous and meditative life could be taught.”
