The plans, submitted by Gladman Developments Ltd are for up to 185 new homes to be built on Fen Road.

This would include a public open space, landscaping and a sustainable drainage system.

Plans for 185 homes on Fen Road were previously refused by North Kesteven District Council in September 2014 due to the sustainability of the site and the separation between the site and key services/facilities.

Gladman Development Ltd however consider that the proposed development is sustainable and is within close proximity to key services and facilities in Washingborough and Heighinton.

The site covers around 8.6 hectares of land and is located to the south of Fen Road.

Sixty-five of the 185 homes would be affordable housing.

Councillors at North Kesteven District Council will discuss the plans at a later date.
