A fundraising page has been set up to help pay for a Spalding dog’s much-needed chemotherapy treatment.

Penny, a six-year-old Labradoodle from Spalding, was diagnosed with lymphoma last year and is need of chemotherapy to help cure her cancer.

A fundraising page has been set up by her loving owner, Delphi McWilliam, who hopes to raise £2,000 to save her best friend’s life.

Although Delphi has pet insurance, which covers some of Penny’s treatment, there is not enough money to cover the full amount of chemo the beloved pooch needs.

Delphi posted on her fundraising page: “Please help me raise money for my labradoodle Penny, to fund her chemotherapy.

“She has lymphoma cancer and was diagnosed just over a year ago when she was five-years-old.

“She is very happy and full of life, but her cancer has spread and she now needs a more expensive treatment.

“Our pet insurance covers some of her treatment however with this new treatment it will only cover her for a little amount of time.

“Please help me continue her treatment for her quality of life. She is my best friend and she needs your help!”
