Night-time road closures planned for A151 Bourne bypass

Resurfacing works will see overnight closures on the A151 Bourne bypass.

Work will begin on Monday, April 10, and, weather permitting, will be completed on Friday, May 5.

The road will be closed each night between 7pm and 6am, Monday to Friday. During that time, a signed diversion route will be in place.

Residents will still be able to get to the nearby Oak Spring Gardens development and pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

A highways spokesperson said: “Sections of the road have reached the end of their serviceable lives. As such, it is essential we resurface them.

“We will be doing this work overnight in order to minimise network disruption.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused, and advise motorists to allow additional time for their journeys.”
