Lincolnshire Police have arrested two men for hare coursing north of Boston.

The incident was reported to the force at around 7am on Wednesday, March 8.

Officers successfully detained the offenders and transported their three dogs to a kennel.

Their vehicle was also seized.

John Devine, 30, of Chaddesden, Derby, has been charged with hunting a wild mammal with dogs under the Hunting Act 2004 and will appear before Boston Magistrates’ Court on April 12.

Wayne Hitchcock, 33, also from Derby, was charged with the same offence and will also appear on this date.

Both men have been restricted from entering the county until this time.
