A woman has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving following a two-vehicle crash on the B1190 Lincoln Road near Doddington.

As previously reported, two cars crashed at around 1.15pm on Thursday, March 23, with an air ambulance called to the scene.

A Mini caught fire and an Audi was forced into a ditch.

Eyewitnesses at the scene have said there are no serious injuries.

The female driver of the Audi (initially reported as the Mini driver by Lincolnshire Police) has now been arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drink.

The road will remain closed for highways to inspect the surface which has been damaged by the fire.

No indication has been given of when the road will reopen.
