A man has died at the scene of a crash on the B1184 near Old Leake.

Emergency services were called to the road at 5.45pm on Wednesday, May 17 after a silver Vauxhall Vectra left the road.

The driver, a man in his 40s from the Boston area, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His passenger, a man in his 20s and also from the Boston area, was airlifted to Hull Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.

The man’s next of kin has been informed.

Police reopened the road at around 1.30am this morning.

A driver has died and a passenger seriously injured in a collision near Old Leake.

Any witnesses to the crash, or anyone who saw the Vectra, should call Lincolnshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 314 of May 17.
