Motoring enthusiasts are being invited to enter their pride and joy at the first Pistons in the Park festival in Lincoln this summer.

Thousands are expected to attend the inaugural Lincolnshire Motor Festival event at the Lincolnshire Showground on Saturday, August 12.

Motors lined up for a place on one of the show displays already include an eclectic selection from exquisitely restored vehicles and high performance supercars to modern classics, track speedsters and motorbikes.

Main event sponsors are Lincolnshire-based Duckworth Jaguar Land Rover, who will also be exhibiting at the event alongside a varied roster of local businesses.

Organiser Dean Graham said: “The event is attracting enthusiasts from across the Midlands but the more people we get involved the better.

“If your pride and joy lives in your garage or on your driveway, please consider entering it into one of our displays; there’s something for every vehicle from a vintage tractor to a supercar.”
