Lincoln biker dies after crash with two cars

A biker in his 40s from the Lincoln area has died after a crash involving two cars on Saturday afternoon. The incident happened on the B1398 Burton Road near the South Carlton junction at around 2pm. A biker in his 40s from the Lincoln area has died after a crash involving two cars on Saturday afternoon.

The incident happened on the B1398 Burton Road near the South Carlton junction at around 2pm.

The vehicles involved were a a Vauxhall Zafira, a Ford Couga and a red and white Honda motorbike.

Police said the biker was fatally injured in the collision. His next of kin have been informed.

Investigating officers are appealing for anyone who may have seen any of the vehicles — and the manner in which they were being ridden or driven before the collision — or anyone with any information that may be relevant to the enquiry and who has not already spoken to police.

Witnesses can call Lincolnshire Police on 101 quoting incident 270 of 17/06/2017.
