Man charged after Lincoln woman killed in crash

A man has been charged with causing the death of a 23-year-old woman from Lincoln by dangerous driving. A man has been charged with causing the death of a 23-year-old woman from Lincoln by dangerous driving.

Benjamin Hughes, 24, of Nottingham Road, Lowdham, has also been charged with driving with alcohol over the prescribed limit following the crash in Southwell Road between High Cross and Thurgarton Village, Nottinghamshire on October 30, 2016.

Dominique Wright from Nettleham died at the scene of the collision. She had been a passenger in the vehicle at the time.

Dominique had been studying an MA in cooperate communications, marketing and public relations in Leeds and had worked as a part-time shop assistant in Lincoln, where she grew up and went to school.

Hughes has been bailed to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on July 27, 2017.
