Police appeal after cyclist kicks and punches train conductor in the head

A train conductor was punched in the head and kicked by a cyclist as he was getting off the train, police have said.

The male cyclist boarded and East Midlands train at Grimsby, before travelling to Habrough, around eight miles north-west of the town.

The attack at Habrough station happened at around 9.30pm on June 9.

The offender rode off on his bike following the attack, leaving the victim bruised and shaken.

British Transport Police has appealed for information and anyone who recognises the man to call 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016, quoting reference 675 of June 9.
