Nottinghamshire police are appealing for witnesses to a serious crash on the A46 at Collingham where a woman and elderly man were injured.

As previously reported, the crash involved two vehicles at the Station Road junction around 9:45am on Tuesday, June 6 and police are urging any witnesses or drivers with dash cam footage to come forward.

Both of the drivers involved were seriously injured and were taken to hospital with chest, leg and back injuries.

The woman driver was taken to Lincoln County Hospital and the man, described as elderly was taken to The Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham and both are in stable conditions.
