‘Tragic loss of a young life’: Biker killed at scene of crash in Blyton named by police

Lincolnshire Police have named a 24-year-old man killed when his motorbike left the road and crashed.

Josh Stepniewski, from Springthorpe near Gainsborough, died at the scene of the crash on Carr Lane in Blyton at around 10.35am on Friday, June 2.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

An investigation is being completed by police and an inquest has been opened by the coroner.

PS Ewan Gell, lead investigator, from EMOpSS, said: “This is a tragic loss of a young life.

“We have spoken to witnesses who saw and heard the collision, if anyone else witnessed the collision then I would ask that they contact me.”
