Thousands take part in second Great Grimsby 10K

Some 3,000 runners took part in the Great Grimsby 10K 2017. Some 3,000 runners took part in the Great Grimsby 10K 2017.

Organised by Tape2Tape and in partnership with North East Lincolnshire Council, the race returned to Grimsby for the second time on Sunday, July 30 with a 2K fun run and improved 10K route.

This year the route changed slightly to accommodate an increased number of participants.

Runners began the race near Grimsby Town Hall before heading to Nuns Corner, through Scartho towards New Waltham before running back towards Grimsby via Peaks Parkway and completing the race in People’s Park.
