New bedroom and home office showroom to open in Lincoln this week

Opening this week: See the latest big name joining the Lincoln shopping scene.

Lincoln is set to welcome a new fitted bedroom and home office showroom later this week.

Sharps will open its own stand-alone store on Thursday, August 31 at St Marks, near the Argos and EE shops, after relocating its Homebase department.

Customers will be able to request for a brochure, book a home visit or go to the showroom to look at the brand’s products in bedroom and home office.

A Sharps spokesperson told The Lincolnite: “Sharps Bedrooms have had a successful store located in Lincoln for some time, which was located within the Lincoln Homebase store.

“The decision was recently made to close that store in order for us to open up a brand new store in the centre of Lincoln, enabling us to continue our success that we have always had in this location, and also gave us the opportunity to fit out the store with all of our newest and most popular bedroom ranges.

“We were delighted that an opportunity came up to open a store in St Marks Station (the city’s former train station), particularly in the building that was used as a former goods office for the station, which is so architecturally important to the town.

“When planning the interior of our new store, we have been sure to be very sympathetic to the surroundings, so that both our furniture and the building are shown off in the best way possible.”

The company was founded in 1973 and has over 100 showrooms across the country.

The unit was previously occupied by Phones4u, which closed when the company went into administration.
