Man taken to hospital and woman arrested after alleged caravan park assault

This follows a stabbing just one day earlier in Mablethorpe.

A man has been taken to hospital following an alleged assault in Ingoldmells, with police arresting a woman in her 20s.

The incident happened in the early hours of Monday, August 29 at the Golden Sands in the coastal village.

A 29-year-old man from Nottinghamshire was taken to Boston Pilgrim Hospital for treatment.

One woman in her 20s has now been arrested following the incident.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said: “We responded to a domestic related incident at a caravan on the park in the early hours of this morning.

“A woman in her 20s was arrested and is helping us with our enquiries.

“A 29 year-old man from Nottinghamshire was taken to Boston Pilgrim hospital for treatment for an injury.”

This latest incident comes just one day after a fatal stabbing in Mablethorpe further up the coast.

A man in his 30s died at the scene in the Victoria Road area after the stabbing at 1pm on Monday, August 28.

Police arrested a man in his 40s minutes after the attack.
