A man was arrested by officers.

A man has been arrested after police officers were called to a Lincoln estate following allegations that someone was making threats with a hammer.

The incident on Woodburn Close on the Ermine estate was reported to Lincolnshire Police at 7.22pm on Friday, August 4.

An eyewitness told The Lincolnite that the man had tried to hit him twice with the hammer after a disagreement involving their children.

He said: “He was bang out of order. I don’t care that he brought a hammer to me it’s the fact there were seven or eight kids playing on street who are all terrified now.”
