This story is over

A number of caravans have been parked on the Yarborough Leisure Centre tennis courts in Lincoln for four days.

The group first arrived on Monday, August 14 and remain on the site when The Lincolnite visited on the afternoon of Thursday, August 17.

Three caravans were present on the tennis court, which is used by Lincoln Castle Academy during term time.

Yarborough Leisure Centre is currently liaising with Lincolnshire County Council, who own the land, to help move the travellers on.

We have contacted Lincolnshire County Council for comment.
