Driver arrested after crashing into oncoming police car and then failing drugs test

The driver has been arrested.

A driver has been arrested after crashing their Peugeot into an oncoming police car and then failing a drugs test.

The incident happened just before 11am on Tuesday, September 12 on the A16 near Driby Top.

A Peugeot 206 crashed with a police vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.

The driver of the Peugeot has been arrested after failing a roadside drug test.

Two officers from the police vehicle have gone to hospital to be checked over.

Police are dealing with this under incident number 114 of September 12.
