A man has been arrested.

Four cyclists have been seriously injured in a crash with a car in the early hours of this morning on the A15 near Ashby De La Launde.

The cyclists were part of a large organised bike ride travelling to Sleaford when they collided with a Volkswagen Scirocco at 2.25am on Sunday, September 10.

A 29-year-old local man was arrested by police and remains in custody.

The road is not expected to reopen before lunchtime.

“Any witnesses who have not already spoken with officers are asked to call 101, quoting incident number 54 of September 10.
