A free yoga session will be held outside Lincoln Cathedral this evening.
The outdoor class, organised by Yoga May, will take place from 6.30pm until 7.30pm on Thursday, September 28.
Although the event is free, participants are asked to bring either a yoga mat or blanket/towel.
The event is also suitable for all levels, so perfect for beginners wanting to try something new with a backdrop of the cathedral.
Some 150 people have responded to say they would be attending and there are over 700 people “interested” on the Facebook page.
For more information, visit the event’s Facebook page.
“Not flexible? Not a problem,” says Yoga May. “Yoga is all about re-connecting with your body, focusing the mind, and finding a little peace for ourselves in our busy lives; it’s not about learning limitations or being able to touch your toes, but about remembering that our bodies are amazing, whatever your ability.
“It’s great that so many people are keen to try something that I feel sure they will get a lot out of. I can’t wait to see what 150 people doing yoga outside of one of the most beautiful buildings in the world looks like.”
