Police have confirmed that a man’s death in Lincoln this morning is not being treated as suspicious after he fell from a multi-storey car park.

Emergency services were called to Friars Lane at around 9.45am on Tuesday, September 19 after a man fell from the Broadgate multi-storey car park.

The road and the car park were closed until just before 1pm.

Police have said they are not in a position to provide details of the victim until they are able to positively identify him.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said: “We also appeal for people not to post any images or videos of this incident on social media, if you feel they will help our investigation please forward them to us.

“Any witnesses or anyone with any information is asked to call our non-emergency number 101 quoting incident 98 of today.”
