Plans for a new skate park to be built in Bourne have been approved.
The proposals were given the green light at a South Kesteven District Council development management committee meeting on Tuesday, September 19.
The free-form concrete multi-wheeled sports facility to be built on Abbey Road will now provide a major recreational facility for all ages.
It is hoped that once built, the facility will cater for a multitude of wheeled sports enthusiasts including skateboarders, roller skaters, scooter riders and BMX cycle riders.
The facility will be built largely below ground.
Building work will start at a later date.
