Emergency services have been scrambled to a crash at an A46 junction this morning involving a lorry.
The incident happened at around 10.30am on Monday, October 30 on the A46 Welton Road junction with Lincoln Road – an area recognised as an accident hotspot.
At least two vehicles, a lorry and a car, were involved in the collision, however at the time of writing it is unknown if anyone has been seriously injured.
The road is currently blocked and police are advising motorists to avoid the area if possible.
Police are dealing with this under incident number 135 of October 30.
This comes after £2 million funding was granted earlier this month to convert the T-junction to a roundabout following concerns over the safety for motorists in the area.
