Air ambulance lands in field next to car park after reports of person falling in Skegness

The caller reported a patient who had fallen.

An air ambulance has been called following reports of a person falling in Skegness.

The incident happened at around 10.35am on Thursday, November 9 on North Parade.

Paramedics, an ambulance and air ambulance were called to the scene.

It is unclear how serious the injuries are.

A spokesperson for East Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 10.37am to an incident on North Parade, Skegness.

“The caller reported a patient who had fallen.

“We sent a paramedic in a car, a crewed ambulance and the Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire Air Ambulance.

“One patient was taken to Boston Pilgrim Hospital by land for further care.”
