First snow of winter arrives in Lincolnshire

The first snow of winter.

People living in some parts of Lincolnshire have seen the first snow of winter fall this morning.

The east coast is set to receive the most amount of snow, with areas further west in the county potentially missing out on it altogether.

This was the scene at Skegness Infant Academy at around 9am this morning.

Any snow that is still lingering around in the county will leave by the early hours of Friday morning.

Friday is set to be another very cold day but the forecast suggests that it will warm up slightly for the weekend, with temperatures hitting 9°C on Sunday.
