A road will be closed in Woodhall Spa as the Ministry of Defence removes contaminated soil in Roughton Woods after mustard gas was discovered last month.
Kirkby Lane will be closed from November 20 to 25 to allow for the decontamination of the area.
Despite the incident occurring on Sunday, October 9, it is believed some areas of the woods is still contaminated by the gas, resulting in the MOD getting involved.
The closure is for the safety of those working on the site and the local community.
Residents will still have access to the road.
