Weather warning issued for strong winds across whole of Lincolnshire

The Met Office has published a weather warning.

Strong winds are set to bombard the whole of Lincolnshire on Wednesday and into Thursday morning, with warnings of delays to road and rail predicted.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning valid between 9am on Wednesday, November 22 and 7am on Thursday, November 23.

Strong winds are expected to move east across England and Wales during the day, easing from the south east at around dawn on Thursday.

A Met Office spokesperson said: “Some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely whilst outbreaks of rain, occasionally heavy, will add to the difficult travel conditions.”
