Lincoln motor business expands after £250k investment

An inspirational story.

After building up a successful motor business in Lincoln, Director John Creasey has invested £250,000 to further expand the firm.

PP Motor Group, based on Clayton Road, is already a leading firm in body and paintwork but has now expanded to offer servicing and repairs.

The independent garage plans to grow further into Lincolnshire, with the eventual goal of launching garages across the UK.

John Creasey, Director at PP Motor Group told Lincolnshire Business: “I started my first bodyshop company at the age of 17 after dropping out of college after just one year, from a very young age I always had a strong desire to work for myself and run a chain of car repair garages, the opportunity was presented all those year ago and I grabbed it with both hands.

“After building up the successful reputation of PaintPerfect for 11 years at our current site on Clayton Road, the opportunity came to acquire our neighboring business MWT Automotive, I saw this as a big step towards us being able to offer our clients the servicing and repair sector as well as the body/paintwork services we already lead the market in.

“A total investment in excess of £250,000 was secured which meant we were able to create the current site which provides 24 working bays, a host of the latest equipment and our main dealer equivalent customer reception/showroom plus a host of other benefits.

“The eventual target for PP Motor Group is to become Lincolnshire’s leading name in independent garage services offering everything a motorist requires under one roof whilst still delivering a very much customer and quality focused service.

“The end goal would be to launch this concept across a number of site in the UK.”
