Mundys estate agents in Lincoln have acquired rival agency Frankeys for an undisclosed sum.

Three staff have now moved to Mundys along with the agency’s clients.

Frankeys’ office in Clasketgate will close following the deal, with the lettings customers transferred to Mundys’ office on Grantham Street and sales moving to Mundys’ Silver Street office.

Frankeys was started by Frances Warriner in April 2009, who now joins Mundys as Director of Properties.

Mundys’ Associate Partner Hymie Bentley said: “We are delighted to welcome Frances, Laura and Jack to Mundys and we all look forward to working with them and their customers in the future.

“The merger will benefit the customers and clients of both Frankeys and Mundys, as we continue to drive the service standards of residential lettings in Lincoln and the surrounding area.”

The deal was finalised on December 1 and was publicly announced on December 13.
