Teen arrested after Lincoln helicopter search

It is believed the youths were trying to break into a school.

A teenager has been arrested for possession of an offensive weapon after a helicopter search in the Lincoln area.

Police received reports of a group of youths attempting to access a school on Calder Road at around 2am on Tuesday, January 30.

The National Police Air Service supported Lincolnshire Police in a search for the group throughout the early hours of the morning.

One male in his teens was arrested for possession of an offensive weapon.

Police are dealing with this under incident number 27 of January 30.
