Three dogs seized and two men arrested after hare coursing reports in Marshchapel

Three dogs were seized.

Two men have been arrested and three dogs seized following reports of hare coursing in Marshchapel.

On the morning of Monday, January 8 four men from Rochdale, Bradford and Nelson, Lancashire were reported for summons following an allegation of hare coursing in Marshchapel.

Later the same day, two men were arrested in West Barkwith near Wragby.

Three dogs were also seized.

The men were two of the group that had been reported earlier at Marshchapel and have since been released under investigation.

Anyone who witnessed hare coursing at either of these locations or has any information is asked to call 101, quoting incident 184 of 8th January.
