Two Lincoln care homes get good CQC ratings

Good care for the elderly.

The Swanholme Court and Eccleshare Court care homes in Lincoln have received good ratings from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) after recent inspections.

The care homes have been rated good in all areas, highlighting that staff were kind, caring and compassionate and supported people’s dignity and independence.

At Swanholme Court people were complimentary about the catering and food at the home, and inspectors noticed that kitchen staff understood people’s preferences.

At Ecclescare Court the inspectors mentioned the home’s well-being programme which includes activities such as making soup, movement to music, a pamper afternoon, games, a singing session, a cheese and wine evening and one to one talking time with the activity champions.

Staff at Swanholme Court Care Home were delighted with their CQC rating.

Alykhan Kachra, Managing Director of Country Court Care, said: “Ecclescare Court Manager Susannah Barker-Milan and Swanholme Court Manager Lisa Dent and their staff team have worked incredibly hard over the past months. Their determination to provide the very best care for our residents is reflected in the positive comments in the reports.”
