Your stunning pictures of the supermoon over Lincoln

Spectacular photographs.

The dazzling amber supermoon overnight made for some fantastic photographs by readers of The Lincolnite.

The majestic giant moon overnight on January 31 was a rare celestial event – dubbed the ‘super blue blood moon’.

It’s been 150 years since a supermoon (appearing around 14% larger), a blue moon (the second full moon in the calendar month) and a lunar eclipse (accounting for the blood red colour) coincided.

It delighted Lincolnites, and photographers in the city in particular.
