In pictures: Prince Charles visits Tattershall Castle

He toured the castle and met local school children.

HRH The Prince of Wales visited Tattershall Castle on Monday as part of his visit to Lincolnshire.

He toured the castle to see the tapestries as well as historic graffiti in the stonework. He also climbed to the top of the castle.

After the castle visit, the Prince of Wales toured the nearby Holy Trinity Church Read and met children from the local school.

Earlier in the day Prince Charles also visited Louth Cattle Market to announce the town will be a new location for his farm resilience programme that will support up to 20 local family livestock and dairy farms.
