A new trampoline activity centre will open in Ingoldmells this summer after councillors gave the plans the green light.
Applicant Hardy’s Farm submitted proposals for the Jump Warriors facility on agricultural land to the north of Anchor Lane in the village on the Lincolnshire coast.
The trampoline centre will form part of the new caravan site development.
East Lindsey District Council’s Planning Committee granted planning permission for the development at a meeting in Manby on Thursday, March 8.
The activity centre will be open to the public from 10am to 10pm for freestyle sessions, formal team-based sessions, and a range of fitness programmes.
Under 5s will be restricted in their use of the centre but the applicant has said that special sessions for toddlers will be held throughout the day.
Group and children’s party bookings will also be encouraged.
The facility will cater for 85 people per hourly session in the trampoline area.
A total of 70 car parking spaces, including four disabled spaces, will be created. There will also be 20 cycle spaces.
Access to the centre will be through a t-junction from Anchor Lane.

Speaking in the meeting, applicant Stuart Hardy said: “It’s what customers are asking for from a modern holiday resort.
“This is just the sort of project the area needs.
“The site is easily accessible from the A52 and easy to reach by public transport.”
The development was supported by Ingoldmells Parish Council and East Lindsey District Council’s Economic Development team, who said that the centre could boost tourism and create jobs out of season.
In the meeting, councillors were positive about the proposals, with some members urging the chairman to get on with the vote, so keen were they to support the development.
A total of 10 councillors supported the application, with one abstention.
Councillor Jill Makinson-Sanders, of the East Lindsey Independent Group, said: “How nice is it that we’re getting some year round attractions? That’s what we need.”
Skegness Conservative member, Councillor Susan Blackburn, simply said: “Let them get on with it.”
