Person injured in four car crash on Lincoln bypass

This is causing significant delays in uphill Lincoln.

One person has been hospitalised after a serious four-vehicle crash on the A158 Lincoln bypass. The road is expected to be closed for the next few hours.

The A158 between Nettleham Road and Wragby Road was closed in both directions following the crash at around 2.05pm on Thursday, March 15.

A white Nissan Qashqai, a white Land Rover Discovery, a red Vauxhall Astra and a red Honda CRV were involved in the collision.

Lincolnshire Police said one injured person has been taken t hospital.

Emergency services are on scene at the time of writing and drivers are being diverted away from the area.

Traffic is building on Wragby Road, Outer Circle Road and connecting roads in uphill Lincoln.
