Shocking CCTV and still images have been released of a vicious attack and theft from an elderly man in Lincoln.
As previously reported the 90-year-old victim was walking with a zimmer frame on Woodfield Avenue in the Birchwood estate on Monday, February 12 when he was knocked to the floor by a young male on a pushbike.
The suspect took the man’s food shopping and his holdall containing his money and wallet before riding off.

Detective Sergeant Tim Wilkinson, of Lincoln CID, is leading the investigation and he said: “The true awful reality of this attack can be seen in the CCTV footage, the offender attacks the victim once and then goes back a second time.
“I realise the footage and stills do not show the offenders face and are not of the best quality but I know that someone will recognise who this person is.
“This is a truly shocking attack on one of our elderly members of the community.
“I know residents in the area will be as shocked as I am to see this happen in broad daylight and appeal for anyone who has any information to call in.”
