Almost 1,000 delegates and business representatives attended the first Expo East event at Newark Showground on Wednesday, April 25.
The event organised by Stonebow Media, publishers of The Lincolnite and Lincolnshire Reporter, also marked the revamp of Lincolnshire Business as CityX, a revamped business publication for Greater Lincolnshire and the East of England region, incorporating business news and lifestyle features, videos and podcasts.
The first Expo East aimed to help Lincolnshire businesses meet and network with companies outside the county borders, with firms and delegates from across Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Cambridgeshire.

Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) has confirmed plans to jet-wash blocked gullies in Leadenham following persistent flooding, which has left residents and businesses in constant fear of property damage during heavy rainfall.
The council intends to jet the A607 outside Leadenham Post Office as an urgent measure to mitigate ongoing flood risks, with a full clean scheduled for January. The announcement comes after a plea from Leadenham Parish Councillor Martyn Everett, who highlighted significant flooding along Sleaford Road.
