Lego heads wanted for Lincoln fantasy kingdom

Your chance to get involved.

Fantasy fans will have the chance to be a part of a Medieval Lego brick show at Lincoln Castle this summer.

Dragons, wizards and princesses, all created from Lego bricks, will land at the castle on Saturday, July 14 until Sunday, September 2.

The ‘Kingdom: A Lego Brick Show of Medieval Fantasy and Legend’ team is looking for volunteers to support the visitor experience team, welcoming people and helping them find their way around the site.

They will also help supervise the children’s brick pits and ensure the sculptures remain intact.

Madeleine Hawkins, visitor experience team leader, said: “We’re looking for reliable, outgoing and enthusiastic volunteers, who can help our visitors have the best day possible.

“While it is a voluntary role, you will be able to apply for our volunteer card, which gives free access to the castle attractions to anyone who completes 50 hours of volunteering per year.

“So don’t miss your chance to join our award-winning team and be a part of what promises to be one of our most spectacular events yet.”

Volunteers must be 16 or over and full training is provided.
