One student in the area said they had seen police removing a number of items from accommodation.
Lincolnshire Police confirmed that the raid and earlier arrest coordinated by Nottinghamshire Police were connected.
Although the built-up area is predominantly made up of student housing, there are also a number of private homes on Picton Street.

They also responded to social media reports that the arrested man had been carrying a weapon. They confirmed this was not the case.
Nottinghamshire Police told The Lincolnite the operation was ongoing and that more information would be released later.
