Woman hit by car outside doctor’s surgery

The woman was taken to hospital

A female pedestrian was taken to hospital with minor injuries after being hit by a car in a doctor’s surgery car park in Saxilby.

The collision was reported to police shortly before 10.30am on Thursday, May 31.

It happened in the health centre car park on Sykes Lane in Saxilby.

The woman was sent to hospital with minor injuries as a precaution, police said.

A spokesperson for EMAS said: “We received a call at 10:21am to an incident on Sykes Lane, Saxilby.

“The caller reported a patient who had been hit by a car. We sent a responder and a double crewed ambulance. One patient was taken to Lincoln County Hospital for further care.”
