Cannabis seized in Lincoln raid worth over £150k

The investigation continues

Police have released an image of a cannabis grow with a street value over £150,000 which was found during a drugs raid in the south of Lincoln.

As previously reported, a large cannabis cultivation of 187 mature plants was seized during the raid, which was carried out at a property on Euston Close at around 9.30am on Thursday, July 12.

The raid was a result of intelligence collated by police and a drone was used to confirm the grow.

Two men, 30 and 47, were arrested on suspicion of producing Class B drugs and they remain in custody.

Detective Sergeant Andrew Kirk of the West Divisional Intelligence Unit said: “This was a very successful drugs warrant which uncovered a cannabis grow consisting of 187 mature plants, which would have a street value of in excess of £150,000.

“This operation was as a result of intelligence we had collated and the drone was again used to confirm the grow and all of the paraphernalia which goes with it.”

The police investigation continues and anyone with information about the production of cannabis should report it on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
