Sneak preview: Lego dragons, knights and princesses invade Lincoln Castle

Lego lovers can make their own knight models

An interactive Medieval world of Lego opens at Lincoln Castle from this weekend.

A life-sized Lego dragon with glowing eyes, realistic sound effects and dragon breath will be among the things at the Kingdom Lego Brick Show from Saturday, July 14.

Visitors can meet life-sized sculptures of Princess Orra, Abbra the Wizard, Sir Studley the Knight and other characters from the show, which runs between 10am to 5pm from Saturday until Sunday, September 2.

Lovers of Lego will also have the chance to make their own unique knight model to take home for a charge or to build their own creation in the interactive brick pit.

The Castle Day Ticket (adults £13.50) and Castle and Cathedral Joint Ticket (adult from £16.00 to £17.20) are valid for this event, although Sundays are excluded.

Anyone with a Lincoln Castle Annual pass can use it for free admission.
