Lincoln Street Food Festival returns

The continental street food festival is back.

Lincoln’s popular Street Food Festival returned to the city’s High Street today with an array of delicious delights on offer.

The four-day festival is hosted by Marketplace Europe in partnership with Lincoln BIG is open from 9am until 9pm (closing at 5pm on Sunday) between Thursday, July 19 and Sunday, July 22.

The festival was last in Lincoln in March and shoppers will again be given the chance to try cuisine from across the world including from Greece, Spain, India, Jamaica and Thailand.

There is live music from Whisky and Lasmess and a fully licensed Polish beer garden on Lincoln Cornhill.

Stalls include:

  • Spanish tapas and paella
  • Jamaican street food
  • Curry and jacket potato
  • Greek souvlaki gyros
  • Garlic mushrooms and potatoes provencal
  • Pizza
  • Moroccan food
  • Crepes, galettes, and waffles
  • Sausgaes and hot Polish food
  • Thai noodles
  • Tarts, biscuits, and meringues
  • Meats of the world
