Lincoln strongman pulls double decker filled with people

His hardest challenge yet.

Lincoln strongman Dave Johnson pulled hauled a double decker bus across St Marks shopping centre over the weekend to raise money for charity.

Dave pulled the bus supplied by Black Cat Travel on Saturday, July 14 before taking donations from anyone who wanted to hop on board for the second pull.

He was supported by cheering crowds as he took the weight of the bus in the blistering heat.

Around £320 was raised altogether on the day.

Money raised will go to The Ethan Maull ‘Up Yours to Cancer’ Foundation, Let Them Eat Cake and also the NSPCC.

As well as raising awareness and money for cancer in memory of his late friend Mark Browne, he’s also standing up to bullying and online abuse.

Dave Johnson said: “Thanks to all who supported; St Mark’s for hosting the event in its eighth year, Bat Cat Travel for providing the bus and everyone who turned out and donated.

“I’m looking for ideas next year and for a Christmas special this year.”
