Sweat it out: Hotpod yoga comes to Lincoln

New concept for the city

You’ll be able to do yoga in an inflatable heated pod in Lincoln this summer.

Hotpod Yoga is launching in the city on July 28 and 29 with a range of complimentary taster classes at Unit 19 on Earlsfield Close off Sadler Road.

Yoga classes in the 37°C cocoon-like pods are meant to warm the muscles and aid flexibility as well as making the heart work harder.

Hotpod Yoga Lincoln founder Kristen Ingraham-Morgan was born in Canada before moving over to England.

Having already run a successful Crossfit gym for several years, she only had two sessions at Hotpod Yoga before deciding the people of Lincoln needed one of their own too.

She said: “As a fulltime strength and conditioning coach, I am very aware of the benefits of increased flexibility, core strength, and balance, but never found a venue that was as welcoming to new practitioners as Hotpod Yoga is.

“I believe strongly in making fitness and wellness accessible to the 99% – the ones who don’t think yoga is for them.”

Hotpod yoga classes in Lincoln will start at £10

Max Henderson, co-founder of Hotpod Yoga, added: “With Kristen’s prior experience in the fitness world running a successful Crossfit, we know she is going to do a great job at introducing the magic of HPY to the region.”

From July 30, regular Hotpod Yoga Lincoln classes will be priced at £10 for a single class, £12 for a week’s intro offer, £45 for a 5 class pass, £80 for a 10 class pass and a £65 for unlimited membership.

All bookings must be made in advance online.
