Young boy in hospital with serious injuries after fall

Police are continuing to support his family

A six-year-old boy was taken to hospital after an accident at a property in Lincoln on Tuesday night.

Police and paramedics were called to the property in Lindum Avenue at 9.40pm on Tuesday, July 17 and the young boy was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre with serious injuries after a fall.

The patient was unconscious and not breathing upon arrival, said East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS).

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “Officers are treating this as an accident and are continuing to support his family.”

EMAS added: “We received a call at 9.28pm to an incident on Lindum Avenue, Lincoln.

“The caller reported a patient who had fallen. We sent a LIVES doctor, a LIVES responder, two LIVES paramedics, three paramedics on fast response vehicle and a double crewed ambulance. One patient was taken to Queens Medical Centre.”
