University Brayford improvements underway

As part of the project, internet coverage will be improved

Increased internet coverage and brighter streetlights are among the University of Lincoln’s plans for an improved Brayford campus waterfront.

As part of what the university calls a landscaping masterplan, there will be improvements to the eastern approach alongside the Brayford pool.

The path sits within a conservation area, so the University of Lincoln has been advised by specialists on how they can avoid harming the local wildlife.

A number of trees that line the pathway have been felled to make way for the project.

The project will see improved lighting, new seating areas, a digital sign and increased Wi-Fi coverage.
